2. Calculate Hit Points (HP)

Your maximum Hit Points are calculated as (Vigor x 2) + 12.

3. Choose Your Reason for Questing

This choice dictates how you gain bonus experience points (exp).

You gain 2 exp for every treasure discovered.
You gain 1 additional exp for each monster you slay.
You gain 2 exp for every magic item found.
Your advancement threshold is lowered to 12 exp.

4. Arcana & Initial Inventory

Spell Access: Your Wits score determines your access to spells. When you level up, if your WIT score is equal to a spell's d6 value, you may learn it.

Roll your attributes to see your magical potential.

Starting Gold: You begin with 2d6 x 10 gold coins (max 200).

  • You can carry six items total.
  • You are limited to carrying only one weapon, one armor, and one shield.
  • Your trusty shortsword rests ever at your side. You will never part with it. If you have no other weapon, you can fight with it to deal d4-1 damage on a hit.
